Who we are
AdvanceWidget provides software development services and publishes the AW Store Locator Shopify app. Contact: support@advancewidget.com.
Information we collect
- Contact details you send us, such as name, email address, company and project information.
- Technical logs that hosting or analytics tools may collect, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and approximate location.
- For AW Store Locator, merchant store data and location data you choose to store in the app (for example store names, addresses and hours) as needed to operate the locator.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, deliver software work, operate and improve our website and apps, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Analytics
This website may use Google Analytics (gtag) to understand traffic. Google may process usage data according to its own policies. You can use browser controls or Google’s tools to limit analytics cookies where applicable.
Shopify app data
AW Store Locator runs on Shopify. Shopify also processes merchant and shopper data under Shopify’s terms. Location records you import are used to display maps and search results in your storefront. Do not store passwords, payment card numbers or other secrets in the app or in emails to us.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us host the site, send email, provide analytics, or run infrastructure, and when required by law. We do not share your project details for marketing lists.
Retention
We keep enquiry and project records as long as needed to deliver work and for reasonable business or legal retention. You can ask us to update or delete information we hold by emailing support@advancewidget.com.
Your choices
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions. For Shopify store data, merchants also control data through their Shopify admin and app settings.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses, not for children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
